Pedro A. Palma (1983) Latin America and Its External Debt. Paper presented at the Project Link meeting, New York: United Nations. March.

We expected the region to suffer a recession or, at best, an economic stagnation resulting from the severe restrictive policies to be imposed in many countries, particularly those with greater relative weight within the area’s economy.
