Lunes 15 de marzo de 2010<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de escuchar dos maravillosas piezas musicales interpretadas por orquestas emblem\u00e1ticas del Sistema Nacional de Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela, en ambos casos bajo la batuta del extraordinario Gustavo Dudamel. La primera de ellas fue la Sinfon\u00eda Alpina de Richard Strauss, pieza de gran belleza pero de enorme dificultad interpretativa, tocada por la m\u00e1s joven de las dos Sinf\u00f3nicas de la Juventud Venezolana Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar (SJVSB), tambi\u00e9n identificada como la B o la juvenil, de la cual Gustavo es el director titular. Esa fue una de las m\u00e1s bellas interpretaciones que he o\u00eddo de esa sensacional obra, aseverando sin temor a exagerar que la misma se equipara a dos de las m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1ticas grabaciones de esa sinfon\u00eda, como son la legendaria interpretaci\u00f3n de la Filarm\u00f3nica de Berl\u00edn bajo la batuta de Herbert von Karajan (Deutsche Grammophon, 1981), o la de la Staatskapelle de Weimar dirigida por Antoni Wit (Naxos, 2005).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Escuchar, o mejor, vivir los pian\u00edsimos sobrecogedores de la primera y \u00faltima escenas \u201cLa noche\u201d, la belleza, sublimidad y exuberancia de\u00a0 \u201cEn la cima\u201d, o la impactante y fulminante m\u00fasica onomatop\u00e9yica de la escena \u201cTruenos y tormenta, descenso\u201d, fue algo extraordinario, m\u00e1xime cuando ello lo pudimos escuchar en un lugar con la maravillosa ac\u00fastica que posee la sala Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar de la sede del Sistema.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La otra obra fue la Novena Sinfon\u00eda de Mahler, interpretada esta vez por la m\u00e1s veterana de las SJVSB, tambi\u00e9n conocida como la A, maravillosa agrupaci\u00f3n llena de musicalidad, compuesta por los miembros m\u00e1s antiguos del Sistema, muchos de los cuales hoy se desempe\u00f1an como profesores de los ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes que se inician en el maravilloso mundo de la m\u00fasica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta fue tambi\u00e9n una interpretaci\u00f3n maravillosa, reflejando a plenitud los complejos sentimientos que llevaron a Mahler a componer esta sinfon\u00eda. Aquejado a\u00fan por la tristeza de la p\u00e9rdida de su hijita mayor, por la certidumbre de la muerte cercana debido a una insuficiencia card\u00edaca cr\u00f3nica, y por el forzado sedentarismo al que lo obligaron sus m\u00e9dicos despu\u00e9s de haber vivido una vida en\u00e9rgica caracterizada por el ejercicio y el esfuerzo f\u00edsico, Mahler compuso esta compleja obra, de muy dif\u00edcil interpretaci\u00f3n y llena de virtuosismo. En ella se pasa de una manifestaci\u00f3n de apego a la vida a unas expresiones llenas de iron\u00eda, desprecio y burla a muchos convencionalismos y rigideces que \u00e9l tuvo que padecer a lo largo de su vida, para luego terminar en una aceptaci\u00f3n de la realidad del fin pr\u00f3ximo, culminando la sinfon\u00eda en un sobrecogedor pian\u00edsimo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tambi\u00e9n en este caso la calidad interpretativa estuvo a la altura de las mejores grabaciones de esa obra. Es m\u00e1s, no dudo en decir que alcanz\u00f3 los niveles de excelencia de dos interpretaciones que tuve la suerte de presenciar, una de ellas en el Carnegie Hall de Nueva York con la Filarm\u00f3nica de Berl\u00edn bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Claudio Abbado a mediados de los 90, y otra en el Royal Albert Hall con la Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Londres bajo la batuta de Bernard Haitink, concierto que fue catalogado como lo mejor de los Proms de 2009.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Qu\u00e9 suerte tenemos los venezolanos de contar con un movimiento musical de la calidad del Sistema, creaci\u00f3n y producto de Jos\u00e9 Antonio Abreu y de la pl\u00e9yade de venezolanos que lo acompa\u00f1an, que, adem\u00e1s de educar y dar esperanza a cientos de miles de ni\u00f1os, nos ofrece la m\u00e1s excelsa y cultivada m\u00fasica, que s\u00f3lo se puede escuchar en los m\u00e1s exclusivos y encumbrados centros musicales del mundo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Imagen: Venezuelasinfonica.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sobre dos maravillosos conciertos de la Orquesta Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Gustavo Dudamel<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":979,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[14,11],"tags":[250,204,251,252,253],"class_list":["post-972","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-articulos-de-opinion","category-opinion","tag-gustavo-dudamel","tag-musica","tag-musica-academica","tag-sistema-nacional-de-orquestas-juveniles-e-infantiles","tag-sjvsb"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 m\u00fasica! - Pedro A.
