Analysis of the mid term economic outlook of Latin America published by BusinessWeek on November 9, 1981 as part of its World Economic Outlook. This global outlook was based on the findings of Project LINK, a large econometric model of the world economy that generated mutually consistent forecasts for individual economies while considering the feedback effects among countries. Project LINK grouped an international team of economists headed by Lawrence R. Klein of the University of Pennsylvania. The analysis for each country or region was provided by members of the LINK team.
